Ryhope next up for Alnwick

March 11, 2016

Alnwick travel to Ryhope Colliery Welfare on Saturday as they face a tough test, coming up against another top three side writes Mark Craggs

Ryhope, unlike Alnwick, came away with all three points last time out. They won 3-1 at home to Tow Law Town, however that game was now just under two weeks ago. The Colliery Welfare are currently on a six game unbeaten run, winning five and drawing one in all competitions. Conor Winter will be the home side's player to watch, netting 20 league goals this season.

The Saturday fixture sees Josh Hay become unavailable, Dale Kennedy is suspended after his straight red card on Tuesday Night. Andrew Inness may return to the squad and due to Kennedy’s suspension it is likely James Jackson will be back in the starting eleven. Thomas Butler is still missing due to a hamstring injury.

Come along to Ryhope Recreation Park on Saturday to encourage the lads, kick-off is 3pm.
