After Saturday’s poor 5-0 home defeat to Willington the lads will be looking to turn the fortunes around for manager Adam Laidlaw writes Mark Craggs

How ever it won’t be an easy task at Billingham Synthonia sit third in the league table and first in the form guide winning five of their last six games and drawing the other. The Synners are currently on an 11 game unbeaten run in all competitions, drawing two and winning nine including both league and cup defeats of South Shields, winning 1-0 in the league and 2-1 in the cup playing at home in both fixtures.

The midweek fixture sees Josh Hay return as well as Dale Kennedy being in line to make his Alnwick debut. Both midfield veterans Andy Inness and Thomas Butler are missing.

Kick off is 7:30 at St. James’ Park, any support would be hugely appreciated.
