Alnwick Town 1 - 4 Stockton Town

Stockton Town continued their push towards promotion with 4 goals at St James' Park on Saturday, in a game where Alnwick performed better than the scoreline suggests.

A Kallum Hannah hat-trick and 1 for Tom Coulthard with the goals fro Stockton Town, who went 3-0 up in the game. Josh Hay's consolation wasn't enough as despite some of Alnwick's good play, they failed to test the visiting goalkeeper enough throughout the game.

What can only be described as a howler of a decision by one of the assistants in the build-up to the 2nd goal for Stockton Town (by not flagging for a blatant offside) overshadowed what was a very good performance by the officials on the day.

Next up, Alnwick travel to Thornaby on Saturday 12th November.

Team: McMahon, Douglas, Dundas (Lowes J), Giles, Macpherson, Gair, Riddell (Brooks), Brown, Hay (Jackson), Morrison, Graham M
