Golden Grahams' Set Alnwick On Their Way

Alnwick Town secured a comfortable 2nd win in a row beating Willington 4-0 at St James' Park.

First half goals from brothers Matty and Chris Graham set Alnwick on their way, with Josh Hay and a Ross Gair penalty completing the scoring in the 2nd half.

Alnwick had chances to finish the game with a greater margin of victory, but 3 points and a clean sheet will please new manager Richie Mitchell. It was a victory that helped to erase bad memories of a heavy defeat here last season to the same opposition.

Next up, Alnwick face league leader Team Northumbria on Saturday at St James' Park, our final game before Christmas. It would be great to have your support to help spur the lads on.
