Pérez Double Not Enough at Easington

Sammy Pérez scored twice on his debut against Easington Colliery, but it wasn't enough as Alnwick Town went down 4-3.

Brief Report:
2 questionable offsides and defensive errors cost Alnwick dear in an end to end encounter at Welfare Park.

Samuel Pérez with 2 goals on debut. The first effort side-footed into the bottom corner, the 2nd lob over the keeper to tap-in. Tony Brown converted from the spot despite the goalkeeper diving the right way.

Logan Powell had an effort go agonisingly wide and hit the bar late on.

Ryan Douglas sent off in injury time for a 2nd bookable offence. Pérez booked for his celebration (cupping his ear) after receiving abuse throughout the 90 minutes from a group of home spectators.
