Departure of Club Officials

Alnwick Town would like to thank David Ross and Stuart Cairns, who are to leave the club this summer after 9 years at the club.

David Ross (pictured) came in as the club's Sports Therapist 9 years ago, travelling across the North with the lads home and away in the Northern League, Northern Alliance, FA Vase and other cup competitions. He built a close relationship with the players over the years, with his 'magic hands' being required on plenty of occasions! David will be moving just a few yards down the road, joining our neighbours Alnwick Rugby Club.

Stuart Cairns departs as club treasurer (also 9 years in post), having tried to leave last summer but stayed on for 1 more year! Stuart gives up his time for many local causes as treasurer, whilst also being self employed. Our commercial manager Alan Lingwood will be temporarily covering the post of Treasurer until a replacement is found.

Thank you for all of your time and effort over the years gentlemen. Best wishes from all at Alnwick Town Football Club for the future.
