Pre Season Starts Early...

As I write this we have already had 2 pre season sessions and both myself and the managment team are delighted with the lads desire to get back early and make sure we are fitter and more organised than ever come the first game on the 12th August.

We travel away to Durham City which kicks off 2 very hard games to get the 17/18 season underway. Getting back into pre season training early can only help our preparation for a tough start on paper in the league.

Both Stu and I are working hard on bringing in some new faces to add to the squad and hopefully add a little more experience to the exciting young players we have and the new crop joining us in pre season.

We have arranged several challenging friendlies against some excellent teams. We particular look forward to welcoming 3 Northern League divison one sides in Morpeth Town, Ashington and Jarrow Roofing BCA.

Off the pitch work contiues at the ground with the excellent Groundsman again doing his magic to the surface in order to make sure the lads have the best surface possible for next season. The Chairman has invested in the renovation of the changing rooms and both staff and players are grateful for his and the committiees continued support.

Get yourself along to the friendlies and hopefully a chance to look at some new faces.

Will see you all in the bar for a pint after the games.
