Phil Bright put Alnwick ahead with the best goal of the game. A long diagonal ball by Tony Brown was brought down by Bright with his first touch, attacked down the wing, knocked the ball past the keeper and into the bottom corner. His first goal for the club.(1-0)

Northallerton equalised in the 26th minute. Aaron Ramsbottom. (1-1)

Alnwick regained the lead in the 34th minute. A Lewis Coyle corner fell to Andrew Keenan who bundled the ball in from the 6 yard box, also his first goal for the club.. (2-1)
